Laboratory for the Analysis of Cigarettes and Tobacco Products – Drama

The laboratory is currently undergoing the re-accreditation process by the Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD) in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for the following analyses in cigarettes:

Nicotine determination (ISO 10315)

Tar determination (ISO 4387)

Moisture and carbon monoxide determination (ISO 8454)

At the same time, the laboratory participates in interlaboratory studies, such as the EUCS (European Collaborative Study on Cigarette Smoke Analysis) and ESTA–EMT04 (European Smoking Tobacco Association – European Monitor Tobacco 04).
