Dr. Theodoros Moysiadis is a graduate of the Department of Mathematics (2003) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and received a master's degree (2005) and a doctorate (2010) in the field of Statistics and Operational Research from the same Department. During his studies, he received multiple scholarships, including the Greek State Scholarship (IKY) and the “Excellence” for doctoral research. During 2011-2014, he worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Cyprus in Nicosia. Since 2012, he has been active in research in the field of Agri-Food in collaboration with the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB) of the Centre for Research & Technology, Hellas (CERTH) in Thessaloniki. Since 2021, he has been an external scientific associate of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization "DIMITRA" (ELGO-DIMITRA). In the period 2016-2018, he was a fellow at INAB/CERTH within the framework of the European Marie Skłodowska-Curie-2015-EF Actions. In the period 2021-2014, he coordinated, as a PI, a 3-year project funded by the H.F.R.I., hosted at the Democritus University of Thrace. These two projects were related to the development of innovative models aimed at personalized prediction, as well as the exploitation of causality. He has additionally participated in 11 more Research Programs. He has published more than 100 manuscripts in International Scientific Journals in the field of Theoretical and Applied Statistics (h-index: 25, citations: 1813, Google Scholar). Since May 2026 he is a Researcher at the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources, ELGO-Dimitra.
