Dr Eirini Sarrou got her degree (2008) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in Greece, from Faculty of Agriculture, and her Master (2010) and PhD (2013) in Horticulture in the same Academic Faculty under the supervision of Prof. Kortesa Dimassi-Theriou. She was working as a post doc researcher at the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources –HAO DEMETER (2016), while gained two scholarships (2015, 2018) for postdoctoral research in AUTH University (Greece). Since 2017 she is employed as a Researcher (Junior Level) at HAO-DEMETER in the field of Agronomy and Breeding of Medicinal and Aromatic plants (MAPs). During her scientific experience she was a visiting researcher to Fondazione Edmund Mach during two short training scientific missions granted from Cost Actions, within the group of Dr. Stefan Martens, Department of Food Quality and Nutrition. So far she co-authored 15 papers in ISI Journals.
