Dr. Kadoglidou received her B.Sc. degree (1998) in the direction of Plant Protection, the M.Sc. degree (2003) in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Agronomy and Weed Science, and the Ph.D. Diploma (2009) in Plant Physiology from the Faculty of Agriculture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She possess experience and knowledge encompassing aspects from a wide range of areas due to the subject of her studies and her participation in several research programmes. She has participated in 8 research programms funded by the E.U, by conducting relevant research mainly in the subject of nutrition/physiology of plants and plant stress. During 2003-2006 she participated with fellowship in the PENED 2001 programme entitled “Exploitation of indigenous resources in organic farming: adjustment of parameters of the system soil-plant with secondary metabolites of aromatic plants”. She was postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources of HAO-DEMETER during 2015-2016, in AGROETAK research project related to the sustainable vegetable production system. She participated in the research project “Energy autonomous smart greenhouse” in the frame of action Cooperation of GSRT (2014-2015). Her work encompass a broad-range of areas, with emphasis in horticulture, including the plant physiology under biotic/abiotic stress, the exploitation of biological action of plant’s secondary metabolites in sustainable production, the recycling of crop residues in sustainable and organic cultivation systems, the sustainable greenhouse production, the agro-ecophysiology. She has published 14 papers within the Science Citation Index, one book chapter in “Weed Control: Sustainability, Hazards and Risks in Cropping Systems Worldwide” and 8 publications in international and national conferences. During the period 2005-2019 she was also lecturing of theory and laboratory courses in Faculties of Agriculture in Higher Education Institutions. Since April 2020 she is an independent researcher in Horticulture at the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources of HAO-DEMETER.
