He graduated as agronomist of the School of Geotechnical Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in1993. He worked in agricultural stores as a sales manager for plant protection products as well as in cooperatives as a responsible agronomist for tobacco and nuts producers groups. In 2003 he joined former NAGREF as a member of the special technical scientific staff of the Animal Research Institute where he was responsible for the institute’s fields. Since 2011 he has been working as an analyst at the Laboratory for Smoke and Tobacco Analysis in Drama, Greece, part of the Institute of Plant Breeding and Genetic Resources.
